Cassette air conditioning systems

Cassette air conditioning systems are mainly installed in commercial premises such as restaurants, offices, etc…They usually are installed within the suspended ceiling of the room so all in concealed apart from the air conditioning grill. They maximise the usage of the wall space along with being very aesthetically pleasing.

There are different types of cassette systems such as a multi split system. This can consist of one outdoor unit and up to 4 indoor units. These systems are installed in such locations where there in not adequate space to accommodate multiple outdoor units.

They usually consist of one outdoor unit to one indoor unit (Single split system) although they can be installed in a multi split system. cassette air conditioniung systems can go up to a cooling capacity of 14kw for one indoor unit and a maximum of 28kw for an outdoor unit. If the indoor area is a very large area that requires a cooling of 28 kw, there can only be a maximum of 2 x 14kw indoor units on a multi split system.

If the designated area requires more cooling capacity then the multi split system can provide the alternate solution can be a VRV or VRF system which can have several indoor units within this system. Large commercial properties use VRV or VRF systems and they have several offices over multiple floors to cool or heat.
