Under ceiling air conditioning systems are mainly installed in commercial premises such as restaurants. They are mounted to the ceiling to maximise the wall space that the premises has as that space can be put to better use.
Under Ceiling Air Conditioning
There are different types of under ceiling mounted systems such as a multi split system. This can consist of one outdoor unit and up to 4 indoor units. These systems are installed in such locations where there in not adequate space to accommodate multiple outdoor units.

They usually consist of one outdoor unit to one indoor unit(Single split system) although they can be installed in a multi split system.
Under Ceiling Air Conditioning
Under ceiling air conditioniung systems can go up to a cooling capacity of 14kw for one indoor unit and a maximum of 28kw for an outdoor unit. If the indoor area is a very large area that requires a cooling of 14kw, there can only be a maximum of 2 off these units on a multi split system.
Under Ceiling Air Conditioning
In the above scenario of picture 3 there can only be a maximum of 2 indoor units @ 14kw to one outdoor unit of 28kw. If more indoor units are installed to the outdoor unit the system will be inadequate and will not function as it is suppose to.
